Awesome Mail

Hi friends! I was able to get the LK Love Is Best Travelling pattern stitched up this week.
I stitched this on 32ct lavender linen and used DMC 316,3041,3688, 3726,3727,3740. I like how this turned out.
The fabric in the background is what I used for the back. This fabric was a gift from Kim. Perfect, since she started this traveling pattern.
The pattern is ready to continue it's travels around the world. Who will stitch this next? If you want to be the next stitcher, tell me so in the comments. I will be drawing the name of the next stitcher on Monday. You need to be a follower of mine and have a blog.

I had a fabulous mail day this week my friends!  Our friend Kim had a giveaway for her birthday. :) I won the needlepoint sweets she made. And she also gave me a few extra pretties. Take a look! Thank you again Kim.
A new friend named Lee had her first giveaway and I won! She made me a lovely scissor fob and included scissors. Take a look at the adorable, precious, little Liberty pillow she made. That is not all! She ordered special hand dyed fabric just for me. And look at the great LK pattern she bought me. Oh yes! She included some trim and flosses also.
Wow Lee! This was really a most generous gift! Friends, if you have not come across Lee, would you stop in and take a look at her new blog? CLICK HERE TO GO TO LEE'S BLOG

I need to get to Hobby Lobby. I need a dark, dark purple floss for my next project and DMC just is not working. I think maybe Hobby Lobby has Sullivans also?

I gave both the poodles haircuts. Time to stitch!

Thank you for stopping by my friends I am so very glad you did!

Stitching and praying,
Vickie

What generous gifts you received - lovely treats for a lovely lady! The traveling pattern has such a meaningful verse. It makes me wish I had a blog so I could join in. Perhaps you'd like to post my finish for me? But no, I know there are rules for a reason, so I'll enjoy seeing how others finish this live as it travels through the stitcher-sisterhood. Thanks for sharing!

Great finish of the Travelling Pattern. I stitched this one some time ago. My name will be on the list somewhere! I used wild and crazy colours though.
Two lovely giveaways in this post too. I love Kim's sweet treats, very convincing, don't let the dogs see them.

Beautiful gifts you received this week Vickie. I know Hobby Lobby sells a different one than DMC but for the life of me I don't know what it is. If you can't find one there, let me know because my LNS sells Anchor and Presencia so I'd be more than happy to look for you. Just drop a line.
Hugs

Kristiinas new medication has helped her a lot and she has been in the very good mood. She even taked to me about starting her studies at Autumn... I am so greatfull for her emprovement ..You have stitched an adorable soft pink ornament !!

Wow you really did change everything to pink lol! It looks great, and the backing fabric does match it quite nicely. Please don't include me, I'd never get it stitched in time and would feel bad hanging onto it for so long because of it!

Our Hobby Lobby has never sold Sullivans (they carry Artiste or whatever it is, craft thread). If there is a Hancock Fabric in your area, they carry Sullivans.

Hi Vicki: I love the color combination you chose, so fresh and pretty.
You are a lucky Lady look at all the goodies that came in the mail.
I have this pattern which I will stitch someday, so please do not add me to the traveling list.
I checked out Lee's Blog, will post a link to her blog on my next posting.

Blessings
